Vandenbrink Release GT Convertible Design Based Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

Although a a specially selected audience had the opportunity to see the Vandenbrink GT Convertible earlier this year at the Cercle Deluxe 2007 fair in Vienna the rest of us were left using our imagination, but now for the first time the Dutch firm has released the first image for us all to see. The GT Convertible is based on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano and will feature a lightweight carbon fibre folding hardtop.

No further details have been released yet but the power is likely to come from the same Edo Competition sourced engine as the current 599 & 630 GTO, which boast a power output of 650hp and 750hp respectively.

Each unit is built to order for that extra bit of exclusivity but don't expect this to come cheap, if we take the 599/630 GTO price as a guide we can expect the GT Convertible to be close to €1,000,000 not including the base price for the 599 GTB Fiorano.

To further whet our apetite, Vandenbrinks future designs may include the Audi R8, Spyker C8 Spyder and Corvette Z06.
