Land Rover Concept Photo Leaked Ahead of Detroit Show

Further to the official release of a teaser photo at September's Frankfurt Show, this is the first new shot of a Land Rover concept car previewing the firm's upcoming production model coupe SUV, set to tackle the emerging coupe crossover SUV market. The official lone photo comes courtesy of reader 'Jay', with the car set to debut at Detroit in January.

Confirming earlier reports by magazines, the car will get just two doors, bucking the recent trend for high-track four-door coupes. Seating four in a panoramic sunroof-lit light but coseted interior, the concept car favours a streamlined, dynamic style with a sloped roofline over cargo space and versatility in all but off-road capability.

The production version of the new concept car is speculated to hit the market in 2011 to join forthcoming coupe SUV models due from BMW, Audi and VW.
